P3S Corporation announces addition of several new team members

Donna Beck
Donna Beck, P3S Corporation vice president of Human Resources, brings more than 30 years of experience to the P3S corporate team, including more than 15 years of experience designing and implementing proactive Human Resources strategies and programs. Her proven track record of developing business partnerships, facilitating performance initiatives, and coaching both manager and employees on how to succeed in business with integrity has spanned the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors. She has created strategic Human Resources offices from the ground up, strategically downsized operations while enhancing customer service, and uses her expertise with industry-leading technologies to minimize overhead. Her solid knowledge of labor laws, the Services Contract Act (SCA), benefits administration, performance management, and recruiting will take P3S Corporation to the next level.

Donna earned her Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Human Resources Management from the University of Phoenix and her Bachelor of Science in Human Resources Management from St. Edward’s University. She also holds a Professional Human Resources Certification (PHR) from the Human Resources Certification Institute and Society of Human Resources Management (HRCI/SHRM).

Gerald "Jerry" Perkins
Retired Air Force Lieutenant Colonel Jerry Perkins joined P3S in September, 2011 as the vice president of Business Development for the Southwest Region, extending the company’s legacy of hiring military officers to add their leadership experience to the team.

Prior to joining P3S, Jerry was the director of business development at CareNet Healthcare Services, where he focused on the military market. Jerry utilized his expansive knowledge of the government procurement process to lead CareNet to win multiple military contracts and quintuple the company’s revenue. This success made CareNet the leader in the military market and rendered it well-positioned for future growth.

Jerry’s last assignment in the Air Force was as the wing comptroller and deputy commander of the 319th Air Refueling Wing Mission Support Group, Grand Forks Air Force Base, N.D. He managed $300 million in financial appropriations, including operations and maintenance, family housing, military construction, and non-appropriated funds. Jerry also assisted the Mission Support Group commander, leading 1,500 military and civilian employees who served seven diverse squadrons: civil engineering, communications, contracting, logistics, personnel, security and services. During this assignment, Jerry deployed to Ali Air Base, Iraq, as the deputy commander of the 407th Aerospace Expeditionary Group. He assisted the group commander who led 1,000 Air Force personnel operating an air field, training the Iraqi Air Force to fly C-130 cargo aircraft, operating the command post, providing security for 10,000 coalition forces, and maintaining clear communication and coordination with the U.S. Army, the Italian and Romanian forces, and local Iraqi government staff.

Jerry holds a Master of Aeronautical Sciences from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. He received his commission as an officer in the Air Force and a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from the United States Air Force Academy. Jerry is also a graduate of the Budget Officer’s Course, Air Force Squadron Officer’s School, Professional Military Comptrollers School, the Support Group Commander’s Course, Air Command and Staff College, and the Air War College. Jerry’s major awards and decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal with five oak leaf clusters, the Air Force Commendation Medal with two oak leaf clusters, the Air Force Outstanding Unit Award with three oak leaf clusters, the Iraq Campaign Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, the Air Force Expeditionary Service Ribbon with Gold Border, and the Air Force Small Arms Expert Ribbon with one bronze star.

Jerry and his wife Aurora have two children who are both currently attending the United States Air Force Academy.

John Howell
John Howell, the new vice president for Business Development, Midwest region, is based on Dayton, Ohio, and represents P3S Corporation throughout the Midwestern states. He brings more than 12 years of training and education experience with the U.S. Air Force and more than 15 years of operational military experience to the P3S Team.

As an instructor and former superintendent at the U.S. Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine (USAFSAM), 711th Human Performance Wing (711 HPW), Howell oversaw all aspects of 86 courses of instruction to include a $7 million annual operating budget for both professional and paraprofessional offerings. Previously employed by PrairieQuest Inc., Howell distinguished himself as an integral part of the Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) team, where he designed classroom and laboratory space at a temporary training location in Kettering, Ohio. Howell received his bachelor’s degree in occupational education from Wayland Baptist University.
